What color skin?

What color is your hav's skin. My Ellie is almost solid chocolate but her skin is very light. I was just wondering if this is normal?

sounds normal. Tillie is white/apricot and her skin is mostly either pink, tan or light grey depending on where you look! LOL

I don't think skin and hair color have any connection. Isabella has black tips on her ears but the skin underneath is still pinkish . Lighter skinned people come in a myriad of hair colors too . Ellie's beautifully normal

I have wondered about this Atticus has lots of dark spots on his skin that have white hair coming out of them but now I can see black hair is coming out of some of them, maybe just coincidence.

In Atticus' case, I'd bet dollars to donuts it's the Belton gene emerging. Really common in B&W partis.

I asked about the black spots on Rosie's skin when she was a baby. No one mentioned the belton gene at that time. But sure enough, all her ticking spots are where the skin is dark.
