Fonzi had an interesting first week ... We met with a trainer who gave us positive input and we begin formal training in 2 weeks. We'll do basic obedience, Canine Good Citizen and CLASS in that order, getting us ready for the therapy dog training at my work.
I decided not to crate him while I was at work (big mistake), resulting in various chewed items, which wasn't a huge deal until Thursday at lunch when I went home and found chewed up electric cords. We rushed to the vet and an xray indicated metal in his tummy. After a night at the vet, everything "passed" and i brought him home safe and sound. Fonzi now stays in the crate when home alone.
Lila and he continue to get along well most of the time, though she seems to think that all treats are hers and gets crabby when it's Fonzi's turn.
Last night he got his first bath, resulting in me getting as wet as he did, I think, LOL. But he's clean again and smells better, so I guess it was worth it.
Anyway, we're still figuring things out and setting into our routine, but he's already totally my baby and I can't imagine life without him.
I'll try to take more pics soon -- this one is us at Easter. Not the best but will have to do for now.
Thanks to all!
