Raw meat is good for my dog?

Hi I have a pitbull and now I am giving. I have read elsewhere that it is good to give a bit of raw meat. The case is also said to be bad.

There are many disease-carrying pathogens found in raw meats, like Salmonellas, Escherichia coli, Shigella, Staphylococcus aureus, Listeria monocytogenes, Salmonellas, Campylobacter, etc. why put your dog's health in unnecessary risk? I know some people would disagree but the truth is, raw meat does NOT offer any more nutrition value than cooked meat, so long as you don't overcooked and charred the meat.

There are many opinions on what to feed your pets. Ultimately, you feed them what you are most comfortable with and what you can afford, or simply what ever you feel like feeding them.

I personally feed my dogs Raw and have been doing it since the day I took them both Home. I travel great distances to buy them food every other month and spend a good amount of money on their food (including Eggs and supplements that I like to feed in addition to the raw). This is my personal choice and it doesn't mean that those who feed a different type of food are wrong, is just simple my decision.

Now; MY opinion on Raw (derived from extensive reading on the subject)

Yes, it is great to feed your dogs raw meat. If YOU were to eat Raw meat, you would probably get very sick with all the bacteria mentioned in the previous post, however, dogs have a different immune system than Humans and are resistant to most of those bacteria (unless they have some health issues).

Here is a link that have great info on Raw feeding:

here is one for dog food ratings:

There is lots of info on the internet about feeding raw.

PS: Feeding raw to little havaneses is a lot different (quantity wise) from feeding a Pitbull, who could probably have a havanese for dinner!

I hear if you freeze the meat first, it'll kill the bacteria off.
