Just wondering how the moderators and others feel about the resurrection of old threads. Seems to me lately that a number of old posts are being used to start or continue a new question by someone. I think it's great to research old threads for information. But , (this is only my opinion) ,I think if someone wants to look for advice on a topic , it is easier to start a new thread . Easier for people in the sense that they don't have to deal with reading a bunch of old posts. Even though most of us can recognize an old thread and skip to the last couple of posts, it just makes it neater to get to the heart of the question. How do you folks feel about this? Should we be encouraging ,(especially newcomers, ) to start a new thread , rather than continuing an old one.?
