The smell of a girl in heat

My Lilly had her first season the first of July, 3 weeks of the awfullest smell. Now it is back what is going on?

It must be something else. I have a super sensitive nose and I have no idea, by smell, when a bitch is in heat. I'd have her checked out.

I was going to say almost the same thing as Tom. I've never been able to smell any of my bitches in heat, and I'm pretty sensitive to smells. My male dogs do, but not me.

Didn't you just post about the vomiting? I wonder if something else is going on with her.

She started smelling before she vomited. That was the bone as I have now figured out.

I agree, she needs to be seen by your vet. Reece came to me with ear mites and it made his ear smell, Preston got a fungal infection, but they don't smell.

You will know if it is either of those, they both cause alot of brown in the ear.

I couldn't smell Reece's ear just by being around him, I noticed the brown gunk.
