Loves his bath . . . but really.....

So, just gave Kobe his bath and dried him with the towel and brused him thoroughly once. Went back to the bathroom to drain the bath tub and he ran and JUMPED back in. So, had to start the process all over again. . . dry,,, brush. . . LOL Hard to be upset when I read about how many really don't enjoy their baths.

when i bath my dog I don't leave water in the tub, i just use the shower attachment, wet her down, shampoo, rinse, condition, wait, rinse, done. No risk of jumping back in (that is something mine would totally do, she loves the water)

That is probably what I will have to do. He loves the water so i let the tub fill up after i rinse him and he prances around in it and plays. I should have pulled the plug when I wrapped him up in the towel. Lesson learned. . .

Another good idea!! We have a cabin at the lake that we go to on the weekends and he loves to swim in the water.

I bath my girls in a laundry tub...so no chance of that. Wish they liked the water like
Kobe does. They will not even get their feet wet when we go down to the shore. It would be fun to see them enjoying a swim, at least a wade.
Does he swim in the water (when it is deep enough) or just wade around? Do you ever sprinkle him with the hose?

Two brush outs in one day does sound like a chore...but they are sooooooooo cute!

Gemma went swimming in the river for the first time last weekend. She loves the water. I had a swimming pool on the deck but I had to put it away because she drank so much water she was peeing everywhere (3 huge pees in the house in less than an hour, it was pure water). She is so funny, she sticks her head completely underwater. I call it snorkling!
