Teeth cleaning and Leba II

Well, we are need our teeth cleaned again! Poor Djangos teeth are a mess. I brush them every day but i think with everything he has going on, it effects his teeth as well. We had blood work drawn last vet visit, need to adjust his precortin levels but next month all should be in check and he has to get his teeth cleaned. THis is almost a yearly occurance with us.

HAs anyone out there used Leba II? I need to have a plan of action once his teeth are cleaned to hopefully keep him from going back to have his teeth cleaned next year.

He has no problem with me brushing his teeth, i brush them every 3rd day or so, however it's going to be a daily ritual now. i would love any tips or suggestions.
thanks

I never heard of it, but I'm definitely going to look it up. I've been using Petz Life on them. I give them a dollop before bedtime. The tartar will chip off pretty easily (although Pixie hates when I go near her mouth). Usually they scrape most of it off chewing on a bully stick or flossie.

Your lucky. Django can't have bully sticks, beef based and he has beef allergy and won't go near a flossie!

I'm sure I overindulge them way too often on them!! I'd love to be able to use a dental tool on their teeth but there is no way Pixie will let me near her.

I give my dogs a pinch of Plaque-off in the morning yogurt. Even though they are both young, I do think it cuts down the build up on their teeth.

i have used Leba, I don't think there is a huge difference between the Leba and the Petz life, they are both alcohol based, I'd buy it again if it were less $ than the Petz life gel, but basically the same thing IMO, one is gel and the Leba is more liquid
