Poison Control -

Last night Rango my 10 month old male (I call him hoover or kirby as he will eat anything) dug a fertilizer stick out of my plant and before I could get the conmand out to drop it he ate 1/2 to 1/4 of it. Of course I called the vet immediatly and then poison control and then a nurse. Long story short, I gave him Hydrogen peroxide to make him vomit. It worked and he is fine but I felt terrible, tough love is no fun! Keep an eye for your paper eaters on walks after the 4th some of them may see fire craker papers and grab them. Linda

Yikes! I am glad that he is okay. You must have had a rough night. I would have been up every couple of minutes to check on him.

Pam

Oh boy, I have one that will eat just about anything too so I know how scary that can be.

Glad Rango is ok!

Thanks to all - he doing fine but I am trying to figure out how to break his habit of floor surfing. Happy 4th and take care of the little ones, it is scary for them. Linda

Scary for you!!! I am so happy to hear you both got through it! My blind dog can not hold his licker, licks everything his height, can't leave anything lying about, and can not clean with just anything. One time in the early days I was boarding him at the vet, the staff learned you can't use bleach ever to clean out his pen.

Poohkey miss you, monkey.
