Charlys now 10 months old

My how time flies! Charly turned 10 months yesterday and I just cant believe my little chocolate drop is growing up. I don't miss all the love nips and potty training but now she has found her voice and is blowing coat. I got a little sad thinking about her growing out of her puppy stage. Today I'm focusing on how much I enjoy the time we spend together.
I thought I'd post a few recent pics of her.
The #1 is her 2nd boat ride and already loving it.
The #2 is Charly with her BFF whom we recently adopted. Bruce is a 17 month old maltipoo.

He is a stunning looking dog...his coat looks really great and I hope you don't have too much trouble with the blowing stage..it would be a shame to cut him down.

Has his color gotten any lighter? I have a chocolate five month old and her color is not changing yet, hoping it doesn't.

They are fun...never thought I would be so involved and in love with a dog, well in my case, dogs.

Thanks Estell for the complement on Charlys coat. I have brushed her daily so we have a good routine down. She doesn't mind the comb or the time it takes. Most days she falls asleep with daily coat care. I'm hoping this will be the key to getting through her blowing coat without resorting to cutting her down. We will see... As for coloring, Charly started out dark chocolate color and started showing some red and mocha coloring in certain locations. IDK if its just her natural color or if some of it is from all the sun she gets. BTW Your dogs are gorgeous!

Between the daily brushing and the help of a lot of corn starch it worked for Izzy's blowing coat stage. Difficult at times but we got through it. Her coat is more cottony (I think) in comparison to Stella's so I am hoping we will have an easier time with her. Stella's seems to be silky but grows all which ways...doesn't lay down at all...she always looks messy, but cute.

Michele,Lise and Kathie thanks so much. I'm just a little partial myself. Charly knows shes a pretty girl because I tell her so whenever she gets a brushing.
