Ruffles first vet visit.

We took Ruffles to the vet this morning. We've been bad pet parents. We've had her for two years and never took her because she's always been healthy. The good news is she's still healthy and now she's up to date with her shots and heartworm meds. She was scared but she didn't whine or yelp when she got her shots. At the end she caught us of guard and jumped off the table when I was getting ready to take her off. That is a long way down but she was OK. The vet said that she's at her max healthy weight of 14 lbs. I never thought of 14 lbs as her max weight. She's solid but no where near overweight. She's been that weight for a over a year now.

yeah vets are pretty good judges of weight. They know where to look . Here's a recent article I read. http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases...0221104029.htm
