Down for the count

I had surgery today (well, now that its a little after midnight, technically i had it yesterday, at any rate it was on Tuesday morning) to have an ovarian mass removed that turned out to be a form of cancer (borderline cancer...as in it wasn't stage 1 cancer but it was headed that way if I would have ignored the pain and carried on with life). Thankfully it all got removed with surgery so no chemo or radiation involved...yay!!!

So now that I'm down for the count, I plan on posting new pics of Trooper real soon. Hopefully I'm feeling better in the morning when I wake up (it's 12:30 am here, just headed to bed from vegging on the couch since I got home from surgery). It'll give me something to do besides watch tv. I have some really cute ones, and I know Trooper pics are wayyyy overdue.

I had a similar surgery a few months ago. Actually that's when i got my havanese puppy; i thought being home all day recovering from surgery would be a great time to get a puppy since I'd be home all day to take care of her. I totally underestimated how exhausted I would be. Make sure you get enough rest and don't overdue it.

I am taking it easy. My hubby has been waiting hand and foot on me. I have a laptop, though, so that's easy to do on the couch.

I am so glad that they caught the cancer in time. And it amazes me that you can have surgery and get home all in the same day.
