I'm back and I brought something fun for you!
So, it's been a while since I've written anything here. After my trip to Israel and Paris, I have been busy moving my parents close to me (they lived in California) and getting them settled. This has taken a significant amount of time, arranging movers, taking them to new doctors, etc. Also, my bonus son and his family was visiting from Israel for 2 1/2 weeks. But, the biggest news yet is Ume. At Momo's day care, the owner mentioned that there was a Havanese rescue dog by the local Westie rescue group. After jumping through hoops: 3 personal recommendations, a call to the vet, and a home visit I was finally allowed to see him. I hadn't wanted a puppy, but, I'm glad I did it. He is a white with black markings (I don't know enough to know sable or pied or whatever). The breeder, from what I understand, gave him up to her vet because he has an overbite. So, he has a slight overbite, as well as pigment loss around his right eye. Ume (pronounced like you-may, without the "y" in front) is quite the character. He's very friendly, basically he's never met a stranger. First thing he does is lie on his back when he meets someone. Anyway, I missed everyone and here are some pictures.
