Peach Ear Color

Our 3 yo white hav is starting to get a little peach (pink?) color at the base of her ears. At what age do they come into their full color? Can we expect to see more of this color on her as she ages, or is this about it?

did you have her as a baby?? Tillie is labeled as an "Irish Red Peid" and she had a lot of color as a baby, was nearly white at 1 yr old and now at 2 and 3 months is showing a lot more peachy color on her head and back ... welllllll, not a lot, but *I* can tell she is NOT white!! LOL
I think these babies will keep us guessing their whole lives ...

When we got her from the breeder as a puppy she was white, with no other color. The "peach" started showing at about 2 yo, and at first it was just a hint at the base of her ears. At three it's a little more intense, but has not spread from where it initially appeared, and is not noticeable unless you look close. It seems to have stabilized, but who knows--maybe in a year or so we'll have a better idea of how it is progressing. Seems these little animals always have a surprise or two for us.

Tammy, I would love to see a picture of Tillie as a puppy. I have never heard of a irish red peid.

to tell you th"e truth, I don't know the true color term for this. I called Molly's one ear as a peach color also. Molly was the reverse. She had one peach ear and a faint peach throughout. She has lost the peach ear totally but still has the faint peach throught her back.
