Where has my black & white dog gone?

Mig's black coloring has faded SO much in the last several months. He looks like the black t shirt you wash over and over that fades to a dark murky gray. His head and ears are still black, except for a chocolate highlight on his bangs (where did that come from?). Pixie is a sable, so her fading was expected. I didn't think he would "turn gray" all of a sudden though. Anyone else experience the mysterious havanese color change lately?

I will try soon. I have an IMac now and do not know what I'm doing. I didn't even know that it didn't read sd cards, although there's a card slot.....go figure.
I promise-I'll post.

Would also love to see a picture.

My guys really didn't change much at all. Fred is not as black as he was as a pup. What's weird is his hair at the root is a light gray. But he still is a pretty black dog. Scudder is like shoe polish black and Bella white with gray and tan.

Jax was BLACK and white when I got him at 3 months. At about 10 months he started to lighten. By two years he was so grey/silver that it was hard to distinguish between the grey/silver and the white. Now at age 3 he is starting to darken up again. More of a charcoal grey.

Toby's tail is silvering out as well as the sides of his tummy. He is still holding the black on the rest of his body.

Kodi has a very small sprinkling of white hairs on his head (most caused by tick bites) but otherwise, his black areas are still solid black.

My dog, Willow, was a black parti and when I first brought her home, the black was a deep, solid black:

But by the time she was four, it had silvered out considerably. It started at her tail and slowly moved forward, so her head remained darker than her body, which was pretty light silver:
