Introduction and a question about Seattle area vet

We have a seven-year-old havanese named Oscar who is our best buddy. We had a traumatic event with our previous veterinarian about a year ago and are looking for a new vet to take really good care of our little guy. If anyone has any recommendations in the Seattle area preferably on the Eastside we would love it.

Hi!

We live in the Sammamish area, but drive up to Mill Creek to our vet. It is Animal Hospital at Murphy's Corner. Dr. Donna is just wonderful, she took great care of our cat, and when he passed away we got Murphy our Havanese. We decided to continue to drive up there with Murphy as she is really good and cares about animals. Her office is not the newest, fanciest place like a lot of the vets on the Eastside, but she cares about animals and listens to our concerns.

My friend uses a vet in Redmond Ridge that they like. If that is closer to you I could find out the name from her.

Eastside Vet

Our Havanese is only 13 weeks old, and he's been home with us for a little over a month. Before we brought him home, I did a lot of research and really got a lot of differing opinions from friends/colleagues.

We ended up selecting Aerowood Animal Hospital in the Eastgate area. We haven't had any big problems with our puppy, so I can't speak to their care of a truly sick dog. We've been taking our pup there for his shots, etc., and we've been pretty happy with the office.

The main reason we chose this office is that they are also a 24-hour emergency clinic. I liked the idea of them having all my dog's records if I ever brought him in on a weekend or evening.
