Healthy Weight at 13 weeks - female

Hi Everyone!
I am wondering what is a normal/healthy weight for a 13 week old female? Paisley was 3.3 lbs at 9 weeks (her first vet visit with me). Since then she has been very sick with diarrhea and vomiting off and on for 2 weeks. She is now on the mend but was down to 2.1 lbs as a sick pup. She is now weighing in at 13 weeks at 3.7 lbs. I am concerned that this parasite illness has stunted her development. She is now strictly on ID canned food for at least the next couple of weeks. She eats one 13 oz can each day and nothing else. I split the can up into about 5 mini-meals. Am I just being too paranoid? If any of you have had this issue with a sick puppy catching up in weight, I would appreciate any information you could give me.
Thank you!
~ Laurett

As for weight, Tillie was 3 lbs at 14 weeks, but she hadn't been sick and is just tiny overall... each dog is so different.

Hi -
Thank you for that woman's email. Yes, her energy is good. She is playing, running and chasing the cat like a pro. I have also increased her walking on leash. Since coming home from the hospital this week she is playing much more rough and biting feet. This is probably a normal thing for puppies but it is a big change since before she was sick. I have to keep reminding myself to re-train her on everything we have learned so far because 10 days over a two week span in the hospital really threw a wrench into training her but I am so thrilled is is home and doing well, I know we'll make up the training soon enough.
Thank you again for your input!
