Hi all! My 10 month old Havanese, Rocco, has developed an affinity for ice cubes. It started over the summer when we would add ice to his bowl to keep the water cool for him- now when he hears our ice machine he comes running in case one drops on the floor. We started dropping one for him cause it was fun to watch him chase it. Usually he'd get bored and let it melt but lately he's figured out that he can chew and eat the cubes. Is this ok? I guess I'm worried primarily about his teeth and/or choking. We don't usually give him a big cube, usually just a medium hunk of crushe ice. Is it ok to let him chew it? Seems silly as I realize it's just frozen water, but I want to make sure no one has had bad experiences with it or knows that it's bad for our pups. Thanks!
