New class...

Since I have decided to post pone therapy training because of my insane schedule, along with having 2 young kids, I decided to enroll Tillie in another obediance class with her all time FAVORITE trainer!

We started today, it's an Advanced Obedience class and she is the ONLY small dog in it. (gulp.) It started out a little rough with a boxer (and owner) who wouldn't give Tillie the space I told the owner she NEEDED. I ended up moving across the room and Tillie relaxed. She is so interesting that in the "real world" she gets SO nervous around other dogs... but in class, she KNOWS she is safe and she is SO focused on the trainer and possible treats, it's like she doesn't even notice the other dogs!?

This class is preparing us for the CGC test ... although where/how/when/if we can actually TAKE that test isn't clear. Anywho, Tillie did fantastic and we sat between a black lab and a 5 yr old Basset Hound. We went through all the behaviors learned in early classes and Tillie shined. So proud of her!
When introducing ourselves we were to think of a 'celebrity' that reminds us of our dogs... first one that came to my mind? Madonna. lol yup. ha ha

Here is a pic of her waiting by the door to leave for class!

Awwww, I'm partial to Tillie Lauper, instead of Madonna!

bwhhahahaha Tillie Lauper. Awesome. sure, call her Madonna, Lady Gaga was another name that came up. She is a serious attention hog. Even during class, once she settled in, she gets as close to the trainer as I will let her... and lays down, TOTALLY attentive, listened to everyword she says. The other dogs were either passed out, sniffing someones butt, or looking all around. Not Tillie... she is IN it and is listening to every word the trainer says. I swear she understands english. lol
