Question Water before bed

Hellloooooo..

Was just wondering if water can be given to Beamer before bed? I know everyone always says do not give water for atleast 2 hours before bed. Is that only for puppies though? Or for any age??

Thanks!
Ryan

I used to take Kubrick's water away 3 hours before sleep but now I have one of those fountains to filter the water (I used to have to clean his water bowl 4-5 times a day) so I just turn it off and he seems to stop drinking it even if it's there. The couple of times he did drink some water (if he ran around late at night or something) he was fine overnight in his crate.

Of course, I could be doing something totally wrong and not even know it...

I FINALLY got Capote on a schedule for peeing (I didn't think with my work schedule that would ever happen) so I don't really have to worry about what water he has access to. I keep the bowl filled 24/7 because the cat seems to like Capote's water bowl over his own. Capote tends to drink it only when he's thirsty. When I go to bed he's usually sleeping in the kitchen before hand for about an hour anyways. By the time we get up and he gets out of his crate we go straight outside and he knows exactly what to do! lol.

The water bowl is full 24/7. They are not big drinkers, unless it is very hot, and after they have been playing. They go out before bedtime at 10pm, and get up until 7am.

Ryan, I think they say that for little puppies--- beamer is 7 or 8 months? I think you could try it. we usually pick up the dish after their last time out (more becasue it is dirty) around 10p and we go up between 10:30 and 11:00 and they are fine

Brady has water 24/7 and can drink whenever he wants. He isn't a huge drinker and will very rarely drink late at night. When he does, he seems to make it through the night without a problem.

We pick the water bowls up around 9:30 every night, though sometimes, we forget. The boys are fine and have been for a long while. They're 1 year old now, but when they were 7, 8 and 9 months, we were timing things and keeping to a stricter routine. it's only normal.

Water bowl stays out and Winston sometimes has some before bed. It hasn't affected him yet.
