Weird Shaking

Well the other day Radar was on the floor and for some reason he seriously wanted up on the couch and I mean "Really Wanted Up" like something was after him or he got seriously spooked. He nearly tore into the material with his nails trying to get up and when he did he was shaking pretty bad but it wasn't a steady shaking. He would shiver every 2-5 seconds and then stop. Eventually after a few minutes he stopped the shaking and hasn't done it since. I just thought it was very Odd and wondered if anyone else had something like this happen.

Yes, Lexi went thru this twice, I called the vet several times & by the time I got them, she had stopped. It was very strange & I could never figure out what caused it! It has not happened in the last year though./

Well I wasn't sure if anyone else had experienced this and I hate to say it but I'm glad I'm not alone. I really hope that it's not a sickness or something very serious. Radar has only had it maybe twice as well. I thought maybe it was a form of growing pain for Hav's or something common like that. Hmmm...I may have to keep a close eye on him.

No, I haven't seen this while Gucci is awake, but I have seen it when she is sleeping...like she is dreaming or having a nightmare of sorts. I hope he's alright, maybe he did get spooked....your house being haunted and all

Kara I think you were thinking about Ryan's Haunting situation with the weird Wall thing he had going over there.

Dangit...

You are right.

Well, maybe he brought the ghost over at the playdate? Or it went home with you?

I can't remember where the playday was at?

I'd call the vet if it kept happening though.

I thought of the haunted house too--- all you daddy's with white Hav's look/post a like---tee hee only kiddding. I have never seen jasper do that while awake. but I have seen his whole body shake in his sleep when he was a puppy-- it was kind of scary--- his eyes would roll back and and he would shake and make little wimpers--- but then as soon as it began it stopped. haven't seen him do it in about a year. May be a puppy thing.

I know Zoe will hear the beginnings of a thunderstorm, long before I hear anything, and she will start shaking just like you described Radar doing. Maybe something off in the distance that scared him?

That's what I'm thinking it was. He was very scared and really wanted up on the couch and it was dark in the apartment so I can see how Radar may have became scared.
