Lina, I agree that we all are hoping to have better rains this year....whether Benji like it or not (of course I am dreading the thought of him not wanting to go outside).
Michele, it was too funny to see Benji peek through the doggy door as I went outside in the yard. He gave me a look as if to say "Mom, you are nuts to go out, don't expect me to follow you". He stood at the French doors watching me outside. I tried to take him on the leash but he plonked himself on the ground firmly, I had to carry him to a dry spot.
Cheryl, I know what you mean by warm water. Benji Loves it. I always wash his paws when he gets back from his morning walk. If the water is slightly cool, he fidgets and tries to get out of the sink.
Wanda, I am so glad that Benji doesn't like mud, cold and rain. My sister-in-law's West Highland Terrier LOVES mud and she needs to be washed constantly. She prefers to dig the yard than spend time inside the house with her hu-family.
Jeanne, thanks for the compliments! Looks like the siblings share the dislike for rain and cold.
Amy, Benji too was confused by the rain. He kept looking at the sky. We got him in February and his antics to avoid going on the wet surfaces then were quite funny. I think, like Biscuit, he too had forgotten about the rain, wind and cold. He was shivering when he got back doing his business. He loved it when I blowdried him and wrapped him in a warm towel
Michele, we are already back to our usual lovely weather. I hope your son has a lovely time in charming San Francisco.
