Can't wait for spring

Just got my new snoozer pet basket for my bike. Can't wait to try it out. Cody was in there today getting used to it before we out it on the bike.

I can't wait to see the GROUND!!! We've had pretty consistent above freezing temps since the storm, and it POURED yesterday. But we got so much snow in the storm that it's taking its own sweet time to melt.

It's actually a really nice day today, but I don't have time for a walk AND a bath, and the sidewalks are so disgusting that any walk would HAVE to be followed by a bath/blowdry. So it will be another train-indoors day.

Yeah, I can't wait for spring either. The last couple of weeks the piles of snow have been melting (which makes it extremely slippery and sloppy out). This week it's decided to drop down to -20C again and snow. I fell this morning by my car on the snow and ice. My wrist, elbow, knee and hip (basically my whole left side) are killing me. Thankfully I didn't land on Brody which is something I do worry about as it seems when you fall you've hit the ground before even realizing you're going down.

Spring is definitely on it's way on Cape Cod, as all my daffodils seem to have buds as well as some of the hydrangeas. It's encouraging because the Cape really doesn't have a spring due to the cold water surrounding it. The saying here is that we have January, February, March, March, March, June. On the other hand, we usually have mild winters (no snow on the ground, as I write this), a very warm fall season and not oppressively hot summer. So I guess it's all good!

If it weren't for all those TOURISTS, it's someplace I'd definitely consider for retirement!!!
