Excessive Drooling??

So, can I say I'm just about the luckiest Havie mom ever? I need to go college shopping with my daughter over spring break but what's Timmy to do if he's gonna be left home all alone? Why, let Linda, Scudder, Freddie and Bella keep on eye on him of course! We got together for a meet at Linda's house today to see how things would go and I think they went pretty great, except Timmy was a MAJOR DROOLER!!!!! Yikes he was like a faucet. I'll post some pics and vids so you can witness the wetness. I'm assuming this is caused by stress and excitement? All the dogs did wonderfully, Linda's gang is quite laid back and accepting and Timmy didn't seem like he was scared out of his mind. I figure it might take some time to get used to things and I'm only going to be gone for a couple nights. I feel more comfortable leaving him with Linda then a family member who doesn't have dogs and things might be more stressful for him in that environment. Timmy's met Linda's dogs before so this wasn't the first time. The only thing I'm afraid of is that he might not want to come home, or he'll want a doggy friend for company and I'll contract MHS. I guess I'll have to take my chances.

Just look at that mouth...

Jen, I know I shouldn't have been laughing, but he was cracking me up. He drooled all over my kitchen floor, Bella's sweater and Scudders back!! I thought he got a drink, but soon discovered he was drooling. I remember a Saturday Night Live skit about drooling. That's what he reminded me of. Funny thing was he was trying to get my guys to play and his tail was wagging! I look forward to him staying here. He blends well with my pack!!

Riley does the same thing when he goes in the car. Actually, it's just a drip, drip in the car, when we get to the dog park, it's slimy, foamy grossness. I feel bad when people want to pet him. I never thought of it being 2 different things, nausea from the car ride, excitement from the park. BTW, when your daughter leaves for college, you will automatically acquire MHS.

When we first got Abby I took her over to my dad's house for a visit and when I got out of the car my jeans were soaked where I had been holding her! It was so much that I thought she had peed! She drooled in the car for the first year or so after we got her but now she is fine although she does still pant at first.
