The dog behind the icon

I never realized the Havanese image that I've seen on various websites was an actual dog, I just thought it was a drawing. I was researching pedigrees when I came across Pillowtalk's Andiamo, and I said, that's THAT dog! Wow, pretty cool.

Sure looks like it! I love the Pillowtalk dogs. I have a good friend who has recently purchased two dogs of Pillowtalk/Blue Temptation lines they are both lovely.

I've always wondered what the tail carriage is naturally. Handlers have been holding the tails forward and down forever. I never understood it, especially since the Cubans, and the first Standard called for a "crozier" (shepherds hook) tail. That dog looks like it would have a really nice tail carriage.

I agree, Karen. Just got to meet Lily recently when they were at the Cape house. She's a cutie and Tony is so handsome and such a love bug. It will be interesting to see how and if Lily's coloring changes.
