Oh how tragic! From a "grooming facility" nonetheless? Scary!

I hope they find her real soon!

I will definitely keep everyone updated. Just wanted to get the word out since she is rescue that no one chase her as if I remember correctly she was a puppy mill dog and is naturally afraid of humans to begin with.

That's an extra concern for sure.

On the note of not chasing her, I was out at a park in New Mexico with a lot of large dogs around when one accidentally got out of the car and started running. There was a man in the area where the dog was heading and the first thing he did was to crouch down and call to her ("puppy") in a sweet voice and she ran right to him thinking he had a treat or something. Two different people commented that he did exactly what you should do when a dog gets loose, crouch/squat down to appear friendly and never go towards the dog. I hadn't heard that before, but it sure makes a lot of sense.

You should never chase them. They could think it is a game of catch. If any thing run the other way and they (hopefully) chase you.
I saw an owner chase her run away once and he went right into the street and.....
Hope they find that sweet heart soon

She is FOUND!

*copied from another list*

"Samantha is home!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you God. You will never know how grateful we are that all of our prayers and good thoughts kept her safe until we could find her. Other than being wet, cold and ravenously hungry, she is fine. I am so glad that she had learned to trust me enough that she would let us get close enough to offer her food and she cowered and stayed until I was able to pick her up. Again, thank you Jesus and all of you wonderful people that kept her safe so we could find her and bring her home. She is so happy to be back with her furry siblings and they were delighted that Samantha is home again. You can cancel the alerts and notify people now. Please feel free to share this with anyone. We are going to get her cleaned up and warm and celebrate and take a nap together. We all love that precious little one and are so relieved to have her back where she belongs.

Sharon and Clarence and of course Samantha and her sibling...we thank you with very grateful hearts."
