Neuter is Done

I just got a call from the vet telling me that I can pick up Nico and Desi. They went in for their neuter surgery at 8 this morning and they're all done. I was worried that Nico would have to have invasive surgery because he had an undescended testicle, but they found it in the inguinal canal and were able to push it out the same incision. That saved both Nico and my wallet some pain. As soon as my 7 year old gets home from school we're heading out to get them. I guess my mission for the next few days is to keep them from jumping all over each other - they play with each other constantly (and play is always a contact sport for them) so it's going to be hard to keep them relatively quiet.

Oh wow - getting both done at the same time can save a lot of time instead of having to go through all of it again. I hope it doesn't cause you double the work (although I can't imagine how it would).

Glad to hear they both came out of it well!

I am glad to hear all went well. My Jax just went thru this last Friday. He wanted to play as soon as he got home so i really had to keep him seperated from the others. He was in an expen where he could still see us but he was kept safe. I had them apart until today. It was VERY hard. I think it was the hardest part of this whole experience.

I cant imagine having to keep 2 calm, wow! you have your hands FULL! Good luck & keep us posted!

I think it sounds ideal cause they will both be a bit under the weather and calmer naturally instead of having to keep the happy brother away from each other!

keep us posted,

Wow, two at a time! I admire your courage. It'll be nice to have it all over and done with for both boys but I can't imagine trying to keep two puppies quiet and keep them from going after stitches.

I'm so glad to hear that all went well for Nico and Desi and that there were no complications from the undescended testicle.

I'm happy to hear that it all went well! I hope that they will both recover very soon! I'm sure it will be best to have them both under the weather together so it's easier to keep them from playing.

Give Nico and Desi extra belly rubs from me! I'm sure they'll both be calmer, together. Or not ! LOL

Good luck and glad to hear the surgeries went well.
