Chews - when to discard?

How often do you all throw away your hav's chews (bully sticks and...)? Beamer has a bunch, and some are pretty old.. He never seems to want to finish them 100%.. he has acouple that are 80% done.. should i just todd them in the garbage? Do your guys ever finish them 100%?
If they are freeze dried, would they go bad if left for a long time?

Thanks,
Ryan!

I always throw Kubrick's flossies away when they're about 85-90% done. He seems to stop chewing on them after that, anyway.

I discard them when they are down to about 1-2" because of the possibility of choking.

Ryan,

I have this question now...do they ever get to old? If kept in the house do they get bacterial growing in them??? I have alot of old chews around, should I throw them away or are they still good???

I do get rid of the small ones....but if they are just old, should I threw them away????

Yeah, I would also like to know the answer to that.
Anyone?

I've personally found by looking at the chew I get a pretty good idea. Usually after 2 weeks or so I toss them. But then again, I don't give bully sticks so none of the chews last very long, anyway.

I have bully sticks and flossies and some Merrick chews of different kinds left...not chewed after 2 or 3 weeks.

They are kind of expense so I really didn't want to throw them away...but if they are bad I will get rid of them.

I've have the same concern. Biscuit likes to carry chewies, flossies, bully sticks, those edible Nyla bones around, and just barely eats them. He nibbles them. They float around for WEEKS. Is that not ok???
