Hey guys.... I was at Petco yesterday for there Halloween contest. No Jillee did not win but they thought that she was a cutie. They were giving out treat bags and in there was some coupons for this dog food. It is made with avocado's.....just wondering if anyone has used it or even heard of it. Thanks!!!

I use to use this food, and I liked it very much. I don't feed it now though because of where I live it is too hard to get it. When I would travel to where I could get it, they were always out. so it was just easier to switch foods.
If I remember right it was an afghan breeder who developed the food, or helped develop it.

They sell it in stores here, supposed to be good, but I've never tried it.

I have been using it for years. I feed Avoderm as free feed and raw for their main diet. I have tried EVERY high end kibble on the market and this is the only one they ALL like. I get the oven baked lamb and brown rice. The kibble is nice because the peices are large enough so they have to chew them but not too hard. Since the raw is high protein, I don't mind feeding a kibble with some whole grain. I don't have to deal with skin allergies.
FYI. Avoderm is a small company and they were not part of the recall.

I can hear my guys eating the Avoderm as I type this and they are picky eaters!
