Silly Dog II

I was watching "Who Gets The Dog" yesterday. One of the tasks the couple had to do was to get the dog to "speak". The husband gets the idea to ring the doorbell to get the dog to bark. I said to myself, "yeah, Gryff never barks at the doorbell". Lo and behold, the guy on TV rings the doorbell and Gryff gets up and runs to the door and barks! It was too funny.

Gryff sounds like such a little character.

Does anyone remember the Domino's commercial where the doorbell rings and the narrator says "Get the door, it's Domino's"?

That commercial used to have every dog in our house barking and running to the door like crazy. Every time it played.

I'm glad to hear that our dogs aren't the only ones who interact with the TV.

My son and DIL can't watch any animal shows because their Pekingese will bark at, not only the animal sounds, but at any animal she sees on the screen.

Kubrick will bark when the phone rings and run to the door. He can't understand it when I don't get up and go look to see who it is.

LOL!!! OK, that one totally made me laugh, Carolina!

Ivy, I love your stories of Gryff! He seems like he is a very smart dog. Now, maybe I should have asked this first, but does your doorbell sound like the same one heard on TV?
