...for breeding the perfect little companion!
Oh my goodness, I had a strong hunch that a Havanese would be the perfect dog for me. I have loved them and researched them for nearly ten years now, building up the courage to invest this much money in a pet.
If I had had any idea that a Havanese would be like this, I would have dropped the cash ten years ago. I'd probably have added a fifth Hav to our family by now. No joke.
Tux is perfect in every way. His parti markings are as symmetrical as dog markings get. (And I know that's silly, but it was honestly important to me as not to set off my OCD.
) He is ridiculously social, instantly taking to every single person we've introduced him to so far and even showing healthy interest in the other animals at the vet today. He has caught on to housetraining faster than I could have hoped in my wildest dreams. Only one accident today, and he's already giving us very clear signs when he needs to go out. He's excellent with the kids, redirects to his proper chew toys with nearly no intervention from us, comes to us happily, pays attention to us naturally, eats excellently...
I am just so, so, so happy with our decision to add him to our family. He's WONDERFUL!
(And now I totally get why you all are so ga-ga over your precious Havs, as well.)
