Tim has a job to do

Timmy's presence has been requested tomorrow, it seems as though he has the ability to cheer people up. As I'm sure you all remember my MIL passed away about a month ago and early this morning my aunt passed away. Timmy was a huge part in helping all of us keep our minds off the depressing situation with his antics. I spent a couple hours with my cousins and uncle earlier today, brought over dinner etc.... but didn't bring Timmy, boy was I in the doghouse! (no pun intended) So Timmy and I have a walking date with my uncle and whoever else is over there tomorrow, the weather is supposed to be great. It's amazing how much animals have the ability to help keep people's chins up during a rough period. It meant a lot to me that my little guy can be part of the healing process. He might not be an official therapy dog, but is helping in his own little way and he doesn't even know it.

good for your therapy work, koodos to you. It definitely helps to have an animal around , many scientific studies prove this.

I'm so sorry to hear about your aunt, but I'm glad Timmy is being such a good therapy dog!

Really sorry times are tough for you, but there is so much good in Timmy! I have thought of doing the therapy thing with Cassie. While I was in the hospital a threapy dog person almost came in, but the nurses were there and he didn't come in, and I said, "oh well, I already have my own!"

Lets both work on having more fun things to share in the future, ok?

Sounds like a plan!!! We went for our walking date after class this morning and guess what???? We met another Havie!!! Too bad he's not in my neighborhood, but close enough that we'll bump into each other again hopefully. Timmy was in heaven... so, so, cute to watch them play. There's something about watching two Hav's playing.

Hope your feeling better!
