OMG worst mess ever!

I can only share this with you guys! Yuck! It'a a beautiful day and I'm on a walk with Atticus, he goes off the side to poop, clearly having problems, squatting and squatting and starring sadly at his butt and at me. I know he has something stuck (been here before) and I helped him as much as I could with leaves. However he must have squatted in a bunch of burdock because he has burdock (at least 5) poop and hair all in a bunch right under his tail. What a mess, and of course he won't leave it alone so by the time I get him home he has poop and burdock all over his face too! He's washed but he's still not too happy, perhaps he knows we still have to do quite a bit of brushing under his tail as soon as he is dry! !Thanks for listening!

Yup, poopy butt stories, understood here!

wow that sounds amazingly gross. what's with it that a dog can't just leave it alone?

I have those long, broad leaved weeds growing in my backyard, that are the sticky side of velcro, and Ollie has been coming in with leaves across his whole body, and he makes a leaft crinkling sound when he moves, lol. joy.

So sorry to hear. Remember the thread, you know you love your hav (fill in the blank)? I think the poopy butt stories say it the most. I'm almost to the point where, it's just Lucy poop. Something other than dog poop.

Oh, man!!! We haven't dealt with the poop mixed in, but Kodi got into them a couple of months ago on a trip to up state NY, TWO DAYS IN A ROW!!! The first time, he somehow managed to get his tail WELDED to his back. It was still snowy then, so he was wet, which made them stick tighter. That took about an hour to comb out with lots and LOTS of Ice on Ice. (thank HEAVENS I had tossed it into his bag!!!) The next day, he got them all over his paws, tried to remove them with his teeth, managed to just spread them to his mo Mustache, beard, and the inside of his mouth!!! I was able to eventually get them out of his feet and face, but the poor thing was drooling and making weird facial movements for two days before he finally got them out from between his teeth.

HORRIBLE things with coated dogs!!!

Oh, THAT wouldn't put Kodi off!!! He LOVES goose poop, turkey poop, deer poop, rabbit poop... you name it, he'll eat it and then roll in it for good measure. It's worth the bath in his opinion!<LOL>
