It's a girl!

Sorry this has to do with my personal life but I just have to share - I just found out I am having a girl! I would have been happy either way but I already have two five yr old boys, so I was kind of hoping for a girl. She is already 1 lbs which is almost half of the twins birth weight (they came early, but are healthy). I will have to get progesterone shots every week due to my history with the twins.

Any suggestions for a name? I really have no idea.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I'm so excited that you're having a girl; that will be so much fun.

How about the name Emmie?!

Here are my favorite biblical names:

Abigail
Hannah
Naomi
Phoebe

- Jeanne

So very happy for you! Girls names,...I like Adrianna, Olivia, Ava, Elizabeth, Grace, Amelia,,..and hey Regina is a nice name also! I don't like any of the names of soap opera, or TV characters, and especially that dreaded Dark Night or vampire junk on TV. My goodness all the baby names that have come out of that crap. I guess I always think also of what school children would shorten it to, or what nickname someone might give her.

Congratulations! I've always liked the name Kelly (for both boy and girl).

How wonderful for you and your family. I don't have any name suggestions for you except to watch the initials that the first middle and last may make.

Best wishes for a healthy baby.

Thank you. Their names are Jadon and Ethan. We wanted to use names with Hebrew origin for them because of their jewish heritage (Jadon is actually in the Bible). But I don't think it's a "must" for this one. I think I tend to like some of the more traditional names for a girl, without being one of the most popular ones.

Aww! Congratulations! A sweet baby girl...

No real suggestions except to go with the classics and the traditional spellings. I can't stand the weird spellings of names.

Don't forget to do the "Phone Test". Picture her as a high powered executive or doctor in her corner office, the phone rings, she picks it up and says, "?" Her name has to sound good as an adult. Betty is a cute nickname but give her the option of Elizabeth as her full name.

Or whatever name you chose.

TTFN,
Pam
