Wonderful Tiny "talking" Toys

If any of your furbabies love the plush "talking" toys as much as mine do, I thought you might like to know Cost Plus World Market has a wonderful selection of them right now. Oliver's favorite toy is a tiny teddy bear that giggles like a small child. I purchased it last year around Christmas. I went to the local store this weekend hoping they would have more. Jackpot!!!

These are all small...around 3 to 4 inches. The price ranges from 2.99 to 3.99. I had a teddy bear and a horsey from last year that have survived tons of play and still look new. Each toy makes a different sound, no two alike! They are the absolute best I've found!

As you can see, Ollie desperately needed more toys. I was tickled yesterday when I noticed him putting all his toys into his bed, then pulling his bed around by the tag...kind of akin to a little child giving his toys a ride in a wagon. Then he would hop in the bed with them and drop them over the edge...leave them a moment, then pounce on them. Only to repeat the whole process.

You have Dora's favorite in there. She has the AKC Squirrel but I put a string on it so I can run with it and she chases it, and it is also a tug toy, she absolutely loves it. It was a christmas present from Gma for Belle but she stole it. Now no one can touch it without Dora going insane.

I think the toys you are talking about look like great presents-maybe Santa will get a good little Neezer one!

Oh, Ollie is so cute. I love when they play like that. They make up their own games.

Oh, the string is a GREAT idea...I'll have to try that! Ollie loves that squirrel too, especially for tug. His #1 favorite though is the little teddy bear. There is a little horse from World Market too that I forgot to put in the picture that he loves. Probably next is the little rubber ball from Petsmart that has a little handle on it.

Yep...these will be my stocking stuffers! I can't wait to see how Ollie reacts to Christmas. My yorkie always knew exactly which stocking was his. My chihuahua isn't the least bit interested. I hope Ollie is a Christmas lover...it was always fun to watch Tucker rip open his presents.

Shelly~ Thanks for sharing this. Tori loves the "croaking" frog, "mooing" cow, and "quacking" duck I bought her at Big Lots. I think part of the fascination is that the sounds are all different.

Looks like a trip to Cost Plus is in my future!

Ollie is really adorable. Love him in his little bed and his toy game. Smart guy!! He is so adorable that HE looks like a toy, a stuffed animal. Really precious face. Thanks for puppy fix !!

Biscuit also loves that AKC squirrel. The squeaker didn't last long, but he still loves it. Gets on his back and plays with it and it's so cute.

HAV A GREAT DAY ! ~~AMY & BISCUIT~~
and HEATH-Y, TOO !

Darnit! I've looked at that squirrel a few times and never bought it! lol...I guess maybe I should, ehh? I don't have that market where you are getting the small toys...but I do try to find squeeky or 'sound' toys everywhere I go.

Gucci LOVES her toys! My gosh, she plays with them ALL them all the time. Right now, she's killing her parrot! haha. She should be jumping up here to snuggle when she's done....soooo predictable, my "neezer"!

Ollie is precious! Love the picture I am going to have fun w/ Gucci's stocking! I bet she will beyond excited with more than one new toy, as I usually pick up a single toy here or there and she goes wild when she sees something 'new' for her! She loves getting 'stuff'...which is good, as mommy likes to shop! lol
