Need a good Laugh!!!

Ok today I took my grandparents out this morning for breakfeast and shopping!!!!!! Well, we had a great time until I was loading my groceries in the trunk and I set my keys down to make room for there groceries as well and Yep you guessed it I shut the trunk with my keys in it as well!!!!!! So I thought that I had Onstar still and nope I guess I do not.....so they could not help me....I call the 24 hour roadside assistance and the recording said to call back again....gee thanks. So I called my husband which today is his birthday and told him what happened.....he came over and open my trunk and there they were just sitting there!!!!!! He said that was the best birthday present ever!!!!!!!! Wow that was a cheap one!!!!!! Any ways thought you all could get a big laugh....glad that my dogs were not in the car though!!!!!!

Megan, we ALL have days like that....so I can't really laugh at you, because if I did...I would end up locking my keys in the car tomorrow. Murphy's law and all that

Atleast your hubby got to come see you mid-day I hope you didn't have ice cream that melted, and I'm glad the dogs weren't in there!

Too funny!

But be prepared to be the butt of jokes...

The day we moved to Ohio, I don't know what I did but I was pumping gas and left my keys in the car... my normal routine. I did something to activate the alarm and my doors locked and I had to call my husband.... I am still harassed!

Megan, we've all been there, done that....

Glad all turned out well!

You know we had a Suburban and one year we couldn't renew the Onstar because they said the satellite system had been updated and ours would no longer work! It wasn't even that old!

BTW, my DH's birthday is Friday :-)

I'm so sorry you had to call your husband, and on his birthday, too. You'll never live it down.

I've heard that if the other person clicks their key through your phone near the car, it can be opened that way. Of course, I've never tried it. So glad you had a happy ending.

When my daughter was in junior high, I had been telling my secretary that my new car was impossible to lock keys inside. I sent my daughter out to put something inside and she decided to see if she could prove me wrong. Oh brother. Leave it to a tween to find some way to make it happen. Thank goodness for roadside service.

Megan, I'm glad it all worked out without too much difficulty. Better yet is that you seem to have a sense of humor about it.
