I used to go to Banfield because I got a discount through PetSmart, but at the CT location I was at it was discovered that the vet was watering down vaccines for dogs under 50 lbs, so he was fired and a letter sent out to everyone to get their vaccinations redone. Well at the time I was moving to NJ and wasn't too happy about the whole thing. Also now it doesn't save us money since all her major shots etc are over with, there is still a monthly fee. I was planning on switching anyway after all her puppy shots etc because I am going to be breeding her and don't feel comfortable with Banfield caring for her.

There are several of us on the forum that go to Dr John Palescandolo in Fairfield.
Willowbrook Animal Clinic www.willowvet.com, phone number- 973-575-0911.

I don't know if that is convenient for you but he is excellent. He is kind, caring and knowledgeable. He is also one of the ER doctors at the Animal Emergency Hospital in Fairfield (so he is always available if you have a problem). I highly recommend him.

There is a good doctor in Dumont.
Or, you could visit with the group Animal General in Edgewater.
