Low Fat and Low Protein Diet Needed

Anyone keeps or kept their dog on low fat and low protein diet? I'm looking for either home made recipes or special food I can buy in store. What type of food falls into this category? Our dog can't digest fat and protein well and we are looking for an alternative way to feed him.

Tyler is eating Natural Balance LID small breed bites sweet potato and fish. It contains 21% protein and 10% fat. I think that's pretty low in both categories. He also loves it which is the most important thing. It does not give him fishy breath, keeps his teeth clean and stools consistent. I'm very happy with the product. It also keeps him on the lean side. Hope that helps.
