Slice of Apple

Does anyone give apple to their baby(ies), just the regular Washington apple. I gave Skye a very small piece of apple last night because of her reaction while I was sitting on the floor eating apple but this morning, she pooped a lot more than usual. I know there are a few fruits that can be given, with apples being one. I just wanted to know if anyone has any suggestions/comments regarding giving fruit.

I haven't tried apple, but was planning to soon. So far, Zelda has enjoyed a little mashed banana mixed in her kibble when it's stuffed in a kong. The banana stickiness makes the kong a little more challenging but not too hard that she gets frustrated.

Brody is hit and miss. Sometimes he'll take apple and eat it, other times he looks at it like you are trying to poison him. He's the same with banana. Most fruits he turns his nose up. One time he liked pineapple, the next...no go. He seems to like strawberries, but blueberries were a no go even though tons of peoples Havs just adore blueberries.

I will make thin slices of apple and will give a few to Dionna one at a time; she likes to carry them around like a bone and then will eventually eat it. I have done the same thing with seedless watermelon (making thin matchstick like slices) in the past and she used to eat it but not anymore.

Dionna is also picky and the same foods can be a hit or a miss.

Kodi is a fruit MANIAC. He LOVES pretty much anything you'll feed him. Obviously, we DON'T feed him grapes! He actually likes most vegetables too. Frozen broccoli is a favorite!

Mikey likes it. He likes everything He likes it, hay Mikey!
I will peel a small piece and he usually plays with it for awhile then he'll eat it and want more He does that with all fruits and vegetables. He doesn't grab and gobble them down like meat treats but he plays with them and eventually eats them. It's cute

Tillies has a lot of confirmed food allergies, apples being one of them, but even before I knew about this and would give her a peice, she wouldn't eat it... same thing with carrots, bananas and berries... she would take them, and then drop them on the floor, never to touch them again! lol
However she would do just about anything for red bell peppers, zucchini and brocolli!!

Julie has a sensitive tummy, but loves a bit of a peeled apple. It hasn't caused any problems. The crunchy sound she makes when she chews it is too cute, we don't give it to her regularly. It's a special treat.
