Looking for a web site with dog toys/treats

If someone told you they wanted to know a great web site for dog toys and/or dog treats, which one (or two) would you recommend? (Please don't list anything with a minimum order required - like Pet Edge.)

If you would like to do double duty and share your dog's favorite toy or treat from that site too, it would be appreciated.

I know we've recently hit this topic from a couple of different angles, but I'm compiling info for sharing with some local Havanese owners and wanted to see if there is a consensus on maybe 10 sites or less.

Great idea, Kimberly. I much prefer to not have to put in a minimum order. I often just go see what's up for auction on eBay...

The ones I have recently ordered from (other than petedge) are dog.com and sitstay.com.

Dog.com orders take longer than what I am used to from Petedge, but some of the prices are great. I placed the order there mostly because I had those coupons from the AKC registration, not sure how often I will use them once they're gone. It was kind of frustrating that some items came up, but then weren't available when you tried to place them in the shopping basket.

- Merrick Flossies are 2.29 if you buy 2+

Sitstay.com had the best selection of all the things that I like and buy anyway, even if they aren't priced the lowest. I haven't received the order yet, but the shipping confirmation came very quickly, so it looks like it will be a fast turnaround. $75 order for free shipping, though, so not for the small orders.

- Zuke's mini naturals in all flavors
- Natural Balance food/treat rolls
- they have Merrick Flossies, just a little pricier than dog.com
- I found all the hide-a-something toys there in different sizes
- they carry the egg babies, too, and lots of other toys discussed in the recent x-mas thread.
- they have really weird stuff, too, for gifts for those strange people in your life....a "yule doo ornament"??????????????

So, I think overall, sitstay.com has been the best "one stop find all" for me so far. Looking forward to hearing other reviews!

I recently ordered from Doggy Gifts Inc. Doggygifts.com. They have no minimum order and free shipping in the US.
The only thing they didn't do was charge tax. Sounds great, except in CA if you order off the Internet and the vendor doesn't charge tax, you are still required to pay the tax at tax time. (Not that I'm sure how to do that or that the state of CA would track me down for a measly $2.00 but who knows. I'll let my tax lady deal with it).

Susan, you have to pay tax on online items in New York (just the city, if I remember correctly) at tax time, but they have something where you can just "guess" how much you have spent or pay a flat fee ($25 if I'm not mistaken)... I go for the flat fee as I spend way more than that online per year.

Also, I second doggy-gifts.com. They aren't really quick with the shipping, but they aren't horrible either (it took me about five days to receive my order).

For treats I like to go to Petfooddirect.com. Their shipping is not the best (it can take a while) but their prices are great and they always have some kind of special going on so you get things for a discounted price and/or free shipping. They have a huge selection of treats and food too! I only don't buy food from them because they carry Fromm's near my house, but they do sell Fromm's along with other high end hard to find foods. They also carry toys, but I've never ordered toys from them.

www.cleanrun.com

It is a dog agility site so a lot of the toys are interactive and motivating- so they have some of the Dora's favorites! I don't remember one toy I have bought there that hasn't been a big hit!

http://www.cleanrun.com/index.cfm?fu...tegory.display

shows all the toys or go to dogs and then toys! I should have put this out for all you looking for the bees and squirrels.. totally forgot!

Make sure to pick up a pipsqueak or two as well

Actually I might knock out Dora's presents there in a little bit and I will try and post what she is getting!

Jeffers pet http://www.jefferspet.com/ssc/defaul...EBKSDCML1248AD, King Wholesale Pet Supply http://kingwholesale.com/ (they are in Yuba City) both places have the best prices. Kings typically has free shipping too.
