help with color...what color is my hav?

I need to register my AKC hav but have no idea what color he is supposed to be. My mom picked him up from the breeder b/c he was so far away from me and she didnt ask. I've tried contacting the breeder since and they don't return my phone calls, not sure why...

Anyway, does anyone have any idea what color he is supposed to be. I've attached photos at different stages starting with the youngest photo i have have of him at about 10 weeks old, up until now at 25 weeks.

thanks for the help.

Gold Brindle, which is actually a variety of, and caused by the same genes as Sable. Often the gold is only on the back of the ears like him. He will most likely change to a light tan or silver, or combination. Once the black tips are trimmed off, that will be the end of them, until some years later some may come back in the ears and tail.

See our Tibby's page on our website. She's a Red Brindle, but the color is not exactly true to life on the webpage.

Someone else suggested he was a black and silver brindle with cream markings. I'm so confused!

Colors are usually registered as what they were soon after birth. The majority will make some sort of change, and end up looking nothing like their birth color.

I don't actually see the brindle, I see sable. Brindle is a "tiger stripes" pattern and the one shot where he is being held up it looks like all the same light coloring close to the skin. Of course you don't actually see stripes with a long coat but would be glad for someone to explain.

Oh and brindle doesn't get "ends" that dont grow back if cut, like sable does, it is from the skin.
