Has anyone ordered from this company? I think the lookout seat w/ the storage drawer is pretty cool. And the thing that sits in the middle between the bucket seats? Though...that doesn't look 'safe', really.

It looks like they custom make them, since there are so many fabric selections, but has anyone bought one from them? How's the quality?

Kara,
I bought the Oversized Look Out Car Seats for Benji and Lizzie from www.K-9 Gear.com. They do have an option for the drawer as well as many fabric selections.

Kara~ Ours came from there. I bought it just before Shadow got so sick. She used it once. Tori uses it all the time, in hopes that her being able to see out will help w/her car sickness.

As for quality, it is very good. Ours is the navy microsuede and it has cleaned up well after being on. I do like having the drawer, it's a great place to keep paper towels, wipes, potty pads, etc. in. The price was a bit higher than some others but, I liked having all the choices.

I had one without the drawer. I never heard such noise come from a dog when I would make Kodi sit in it. So, now my daughter's dogs use it, and they love it. I saw another one I like at Petsmart. I might make the investment and try again with Kodi. I'll just wear earplugs.

I bought both the regular sized one and the oversized one (I ordered them online at petco.com when they were on sale with the intent of using one around town and the bigger one for trips). The oversized one came in first, so I started using it, but it turns out the regular sized one is big enough for Marley (at 11lbs) to sit and lay down in it, and the oversized one would be too big to fit between the girls in the back row, so the it will probably go up on ebay at some point.
I am using it with the yap wrap and it works well. I just have the boring black, but I am sure it's the same car seat.
I like having the drawer, too...it's funny how he will just about to a flip over the front when he smells treats in there....
Luckily Marley is great with car trips...he comes with me on the short trips (dropping off the girls at school etc.) all the time, no car sickness so far - knock on wood -. When he sees me grabbing my coat, he dashes to the garage door........."please Mom, take me"

Alexa~ I use the Yap Wrap, too. It sure makes it easier to get her in and out.

Thanks for the links. Tessa was horribly sick on the trip home from the breeders but likes short trips around town. Unfortunately she wants to sit in my lap while I drive. I know it isn't safe. (Bad Mom!)

Jan,

Don't feel bad. Bugsy has the Lookout II carset and I only use when we go on long car drives, cause his favorite carseat is still my lap. To be honest, driving the kids to school every day and picking up the two kids that I carpool 4 times a week plus my dogs, there is no room for a car seat on daily basis. I also find it really annoying to put it in and take it out of the car all the time. Bugsy also has a harness that has a special loop for the seatbelt to go through. Now wherer did I put it!!
