Random Thought - Dogs & Divorce

Divorce rates would plummet if spouses greeted each other the way our four legged love ones greet us.

It's hard to believe we're worthy of so much unconditional love.

Maybe we're not, but they give it to us anyway.

...
...

It's not a personal editorial. I'm just amazed everytime I come home and Gibbs greets me as if I've just negotiated world peace.

John

That reminds me of a joke on uncondition love, it goes something like this:

Lock your spouse and your dog in the trunk of a car, and when you open it see who is happy to see you...

Hopefully Dana laughs at this when she reads it.

Dana,

I love you and would never ever lock you in the trunk. I'm more than happy with the love you show me every day.

Your Husband - The lovable and playful JackA$$ who thinks he's funnier than he actually is!!!

John

Ha! I have to admit that when I'm out with Kodi, and we come home, my husband ALWAYS greets Kodi first, and more effusively.

I wouldn't put Timmy in the trunk either, ha! Timmy knows my car coming down the street. I sometimes call DH when I'm almost home and he will wait with Timmy in the front yard, when he sees my car he even goes crazy. I borrowed my mom's car the other day and he didn't even do his "dancies" in the yard until I rolled down my window and said "hi," so there must be something to that. I must say it's very hard to tell him to sit when I get home, he's a hopping maniac.

Jen, my husband gets home minutes b4 I do and so frequently he's walking the dogs. Lucy knows my car so well that she'll choke herself trying to get back to the house. So, I've even driven past them and watched in the mirror when I drive past our driveway and turn down another street, she must think she was mistaken because she will continue on her walk. Then I have to sneak in the drive without her seeing me or she wont go potty. They're so smart but we're still smarter and we can trick 'em.
