chores...

summer time means me and the kids are home 90% of the time. And we take this time to deep clean, organize, etc... and apparently Tillie wants to help. lol

#1, 2 ~ I was sorting clean laundry and turned around to find this...
#3 ~ my son is organizing his maps as a start to cleaning his whole room. he has 520 maps... and Tillie reallllly thinks she can help.

lol, for SURE, he is seriously our walking GPS, he knows just about every town in the US and can tell you how to get there. lol I joke that when he goes to college, I'll be calling him, lost, in the middle of a class! ha ha
I should post pics of the maps this kid draws. incredible. He started in 1st grade just drawing simple maps of the places we've been and expanded to creating his own cities ... he's only 11. We were surely blessed with him.
He can be a "hot head" and stubborn as all get out, but I am SO curious what he will end up doing as a career. What ever he does he has his heart set on Stanford. and we've started saving. lol

I didn't think anyone else had a kid who drew maps. Mine did this compulsively from about the same age (I have a bunch of them still). He was always the map reader and weather predictor on all our family trips. Today, he has a dual position with the U.S. Forest Service and the BLM as a GPS coordinator. Go figure.

Incredible! Such detail involved. Looks like he could have a bright future. Thanks for sharing his talent with us. Very impressive.

NO WAY!!!? awesome!! So you totally understand that I DEPEND on my 11 yr old to get me where ever I am going! lol
It's very interesting, I talk to a LOT of kids working at a school and all I am always shocked that 10, 11, 12 yr olds will talk to me about visiting grandparents, cousins, friends, etc and when I ask them where they live, they have NO clue... I'm like really??? lol
