dog food and amount of poo

Which dog food produces the least amount of poo?

It is my understanding that the less poo the better the food is for them. By that I think it means no fillers. ANy suggestions?

I just laughed so hard when I saw your topic heading.. lol

Raw food should produce the smallest poops you have ever seen!
Beamer poops are about 1/4 of what they used to be when he was eating his kibble which he disliked so much. And they are nice and firm to boot!

Funny

Seriously, the better quality the food the more that is digested so they need less food, so less waste.

When I was feeding only homecooked food to Benji, he had very very very small amount of poop. The poop had no odor, his breath was fresh. I now mix fresh food with kibble to keep him used to the kibble. The poop is just a little more. It has some odor but nothing like only kibble odor! Interesting part is, the fresh food gets digested and absorbed quicker than the kibble. Once he puked in the car and all the puke had entire kibble but no fresh food after 4 1/2 hours. Sorry for the graphic descriptions......

Best, Poornima
