Winter Apparel

It's a beautiful Fall morning and I'd dreading winter and all it brings with it to my dogs: snow and yuck!

I am looking for something that would keep Lucy's hair dry and out of the snow. Lucy's coat is loonngg and it picks up everything!

I found these overalls in the company of dogs catalog. They're not very princess-like but they might do the job. Anyone tried these or any other solutions?

This will be Zelda's first winter so I'm listening in. Would the zipper on that outfit snag hair?

I love the hurtta line. I have a few coats and fleeces of theirs but the snowsuit didn't fit my guys. I ended up with the Petco quilted rain suit. It is warm like a snow suit. I made some alterations, but it works well. I replaced the cuffs with a more spandex ribbed cuff and added snaps. I also gave you some more options. Here is a picture of Scudder in his Petco rain suit before alterations.

This one is nice, but did not fit my guys. She says custom but I'm not sure just how custom they are:

Etsy is great:

Royal fifi is totally custom and affordable. I have a couple dozen of her coats and sweaters. They are the best on the market, affordable and worth the wait for a true custom fit!

Hurtta has new overall - Slush Combat suit!

http://www.eurodogdesigns.com/Hurtta...uit_p_202.html

They corrected all faults that had their previous model Outdoor Overall. Legs are long enough for havanese legs and neck is protected. Price from this on-line shop is great and people in US do not pay shipping fee!

What size did you go for? How old is your Havanese? Weight? Mine has such little legs, but then she's still only a baby, perhaps too young to wear something so grown-up looking? Most of these coats look as if they would swamp mine!! Maybe we won't have snow this year in the UK, that would help!! I hate those awful snow bobbles that won't melt...
