Question Stupid question.. but......

This might be a really stupid question.. butttttttttt...

Is it ok to let Beamer sleep burried under the covers?? He has started doing this lately when we go to bed, but we always drag him out from under the blankets as we are worried he will suffocate or something...

Anyone??

Thanks!
Ryan

Ryan,
maybe he's just cold and/or likes the cuddly crave-like atmosphere. If he can get out of the blankets without a problem over night, I would just let him do his thing. I know Pablo rearranges his blankie in his crate several times/night depending on how warm he likes it.

.....Yes, Ryan, this is a stupid question.... LOL .....Beamer is not going to suffocate unless you hold a pillow over his head. He is trying to get warm or is tunneling. I wish Smarty would get under, I worry she will be cold as we turn the temp down at night, she would be a great foot warmer.

I had the exact same concern and Im glad you asked as norah likes to re-arrange her blankets every night and I'm always nervous not to put too many in. Thanks for asking the question

Ryan,

As long as Beamer is able to get out from under the covers, he is fine. I had a cat who only like to sleep under the cover at my feet without any ill effects.

I agree he is fine under the covers. You would be surprised what they can get under and get out of all by themselves.

Suffocation potential depends on what you had for dinner...
