Worst doggy mom ever!

Please share your worst doggy mom/dad stories.

Here's my latest.

Last night Brody was up at 2am and went to the bathroom. Ok, no big deal. It isn't his usual thing, but we can deal. Then he wanted his treat, which I did. I went back to bed and he continued to pester me.

He was jumping on me and making his little grumbly gremlin noises.

Ten times I got up, trying to figure out what his problem was. I ended up coming to the conclusion he either wanted to play or wanted more treats which wasn't happening and frankly, I was annoyed at him!

So, then I get up this morning to get ready for work and realized that his water dish was empty, so I'm pretty sure that's what the fuss was all about since when I filled it up he went to town on it. So, then I felt bad!

Worst doggy mommy ever!

The first night Riley came to live with us, Piper kept insisting I follow her to her bed where she would look at me, look at her bed, look at me. I thought she was trying to tell me that Riley should leave so we could go to bed. She must have done it five times and when it was finally time to go to bed, she wouldn't! I was annoyed and it wasn't until the next morning when I found her sleeping on the floor next to her bed that I realized Riley had peed in it!!!

Bad Mommy

What a smart little girl! Didn't want to sleep in pee! Especially that newcomer's

My worst moment has been when I got Ludo really over-excited to go to the recycling bin with me... So much so that he forgot he couldn't go down the front steps and he didn't wait on me to get him. He flew off the porch and over two brick steps onto his face. Really, had it been a child someone might have called CPS.

I don't know which of us cried harder.

Yup. We all do it. Kodi was complaining and whining after he went to be the other night. Both Dave and I thought it was because Dave had been away for a few days, and I let him sleep in bed with me. (bad wife, I know ) I told him to cut it out, but he continued grumbling and whining. I finally let him out and he went BLASTING down the stairs, straight to his litter box, where he must have peed two gallons! I should have known he wouldn't be fussing like that without a reason.

Once I forgot to feed him dinner.
I was off by about 90 minutes. Henry did not notice but I never forgot and I felt like a bad Mommy. His dinner has never been late again.

Riley would never permit the "late for dinner" thing. He goes berserk if it's late!

Well, that's at LEAST part Henry's fault... Kodi wouldn't ever let me go ONE MINUTE past dinner time without having something to say about it. He's usually letting me know he's ready at least 5 minutes early!
