I just have to share! YIPPIE!

Okay, so I am a heater vent girl... And by that I mean when the heater kicks on in the house, I run over to the vent on the floor and sit on it so it can blow up my shirt and get me all warm and snuggly.. weird, I know! But I just went over to sit on it, and Kona came after me. He snuggled in behind me and fell asleep on top of the vet too! LOL it was blowing his furr up and he was loving it! Hubby took him to potty a bit ago, and he had some "leftovers" on his little bum, so he washed it off and I said, go dry his bum and he says I did with the towel. Well, his furr was a tiny bit wet still, so maybe he was telling daddy "if you won't blow dry it like mom does, I'll do it myself" and sat on the vent! LOL
It was so cute I couldn't resist passing up telling you all this story. So-- does anyone else have a heater vent pup or are you a closet heater vent guy or gal??? come on, tell us all!

No heater vents here, although I do like to be warm all the time. I consider below 70 to be winter. And Shelby likes to be cool, sleeps at the foot of the bed with the fan blowing on her. She will sleep up against the window glass to keep cool. In the summer, she is always on the floor in the hallway because it is cooler.

mugsy sometimes sleeps next to the front door where it is the coldest, which is funny because the colder it is outside the shorter our walks are (he just runs home on his own).

i prefer the warmth inside also.

I told you Kona was brilliant. Well clearly he is.

No heater vents here. We have baseboard heat and he'd roast his butt if he tried to back up into it. He doesn't even have the option of the fireplace since I put my television in front of it (only temporary positioning, which in my world means it could be there for 12 years).

Molly's favorite warm place is on the couch in the sunroom...she finds wherever the sun is, and just basks.

To cool off? The ceramic tile floor in the foyer, right near the door...must feel good on that belly!

LOL I like putting my close over the heater vent prior to putting them on in the morning. Oh and how about when you are cooking in the over, you crack the door open a little and let the heat go up your shirt, guess I am coming out of the closet. I love sitting in front of the fire at night also.

Norah sleeps on a mat in our kitchen that's over a heating vent ALL DAY! She loves the warm air too!

Rufus is a heater hog! We have central air at work but there are drafts from the warehouse so I also use a small personal heater. Rufus lays right in front of it!
