How old is she? Could she be losing her baby teeth? I know when mine would loose baby teeth, they had the worst breath ever!
I just ordered Petzlife Gel and spray for my crew. It is "guarenteed" to work on plaque (which mine have on their very back teeth) and bad breath. I will let you know how it goes!

Hi
I am sure this is not the problem as you say your dog is having its teeth brushed but it maybe tartar . Tulip my friends Havanese has bad breath and it is because her teeth really need a good cleaning . She has bad tartar . Her Mommie is nervous about the anesthesia so she is not adddressing it for now . Duh!!
Even though there are now people who clean tartar from the teeth without anesthesia . Dental Hygieneists
Also jus for a FYI
Cosmo had the worst breath when he got sick this fall . Maybe there is something going on systemically or maybe it is worms ..
Once he was rehydrated and put on antibiotics his breath was fine ..

No one, even the toddler wants kisses from her today, she is rank! LOL

Her teeth are coming in. I checked over the weekend, and that is definitely the culprit.

I never realized how bad it made their breath stink~ Oh my Lord!

It is really bad, you can smell their breath a couple yards away sometimes, It seems to come and go - it has not been bad this weekend and I haven't seen him lose a tooth. I think I am going to get some of that other recommend stuff on the other thread - tooth gel for bad breath. I went to the store and I just didn't know what to get, at least someone as used this and it works, so I am going to order that- have to check for the name of it?

Susan, have you tried flossies for Yoda as a chew toy?

Princess is not a treat person, and hates most all chew toys, except the squeaker ones, and the flossies.
