Favorite Commercial?

I have started to notice that Kubrick has a favorite commercial! It's the Little Cesar one with the Westie waking his owner up. It doesn't matter if Kubrick is in the other room or if he's asleep. If the commercial comes on, he will come running to cock his head at the TV. He won't take his eyes off of it until it's over, even if we call him and try to get his attention. I think he likes the whistling in it as I've whistled the song from the commercial at him and he gets all excited.

Anyone else have a dog with a favorite commercial?

While I haven't seen them recently Dora LOVES the california cow commercials! I swear she knew their voice and she would go insane trying to get the tv and the cow.

Lina- that westie lives out here, maybe you and kubrick should come visit!

Amanda, those cow commercials play here all the time. I remember when they first started playing them I lived in Maryland and they hadn't even started showing them in California yet. How funny that Dora likes the cows! Does that mean that she's telling you to get a B&W puppy next?

Kubrick and I should totally visit, though I think he would have more fun playing with Dora than with the famous Westie, who by the way, is just so cute! I love his face.

Oh yes. McKenna watches far too much television! :-) There are a couple of commercials that bring her flying from whatever room she is in as soon as she hears the jingle. I can't think which ones they are though. She jumps on the raised dog bed that sits by the TV cabinet, stands on her back legs with her front legs on the cabinet and wiggles her whole body. Then she barks. The barking part I could do without.....silly girl. Both of my dogs seem to enjoy watching TV. I've never had a dog that watched before.

awwwww Lina, that is so cute. See Kubrick wants a playmate!!!

Only one commercial drew Jasper's attention. we've only seen it once in the superbowl- I believe it was for gatorade-- there was a big black lab lapping up water through the entire spot. and Jasper (who never looks at the tv) took notice through the entire spot. The only other thing that ever got him to look up was Catherine McFee last year on American Idol. Everytime she came on he just looked up at the tv with puppy eyes... Oh and the movie 8 Below at the beginning of the film dog sled team takes off for their adventure and it's shot up close and personal and the music crescendos and the dogs are barking and Little 6 month old Jasper ran for cover and started growling at them. It was very cute. Cash hardly ever notices the TV unless someone knocks on a door. LOL

Not commercials that I can think of, but Kodi's favorite movie is Eight Below. It is about huskies and he loves that movie.

Lina, that is so adorable

Tessa hasn't sat still long enough to watch TV yet although since her spay on Thursday we've spent a lot of time on the sofa and I've just noticed her watching a few times so maybe she'll choose a favorite. It's cute to watch them react to the TV. My Sheltie never watched TV.

We have speakers in all our rooms downstairs so if the TV is on and we're in another room she goes nuts is she hears a dog bark through the speakers and will try to hunt down the strange dog in the house

Sierra doesn't care for watching tv....
She likes to watch our budgie, or watching our 6 AngelFish in our huge Amazon tank (119 gallons)....
She will respond though to squeeky noises coming from the tv, like when watching Animal Planets Funniest Home video's and there's a dog playing with a squeeky toy......or when we watch a video of her, and she hears our voices on the tv or computer, she gets quite confused hahahaha! She starts wagging her tail, then look at us, look at the telly, not sure what's going on ...hahahahaha!!
That's really the only time when she gets interested in the telly, when she's on herself hahahahaha!!

Suzanne and her Sparkling Sierra, godmother to Dinky (*) and Baileys!
